Typographic Masonry 2005
For a poetry event inspired by the work of Paul van Ostaijen I was asked to make a design for a text by Erikjan Harmens: 'Bezette Stad'.
Typographic Masonry, Kong
This poster was made on the occasion of the opening of Kong design store & Galery in Mexico City. I was 'inspired' by King Kong, the computer game 'pong' and Donkey Kong so it turned out to be a cityscape built out of 'K''s, 'O''s, 'N''s and 'G''s, see the toolkit on the right side (in the middle).

Non-Format ... new works
A Non-Format egy londoni székhelyű kreatív csoport, számos nemzetözi díjat nyertek, munkáik folyamatosan jelennek meg a legjelenősebb szaklapokban. A Pyramid kiadó nemrég jelentette meg monográfiájukat.
Non-Format is a creative team comprising Kjell Ekhorn (Norwegian) and Jon Forss (British). They work on a range of projects including art direction, design and illustration for music industry, arts & culture, fashion and advertising clients.
Type Specific: Designing Custom Fonts for Function and Identity
Type Specific shows designers how typefaces designed for a specific purpose succeed by exploring each of the features that must be considered. These include letterforms, counterspaces, cross sections, ascenders/descenders, and junctions and how they work, in both print and screen, across a range of applications: posters, directories, newspapers and magazines, CD covers, packaging, signage, and film titles-including The Kitchen's organic paintbrush front for the promotion of Levi's Vintage Clothing and Saturday's elegant stencil-style face for the Chen Pascual identity. The whole gamut from free-from to precision is explored.

Sushi 8 is the "junior's" or young blood yearbook of the Art Directors Club Germany (ADC) which contains an official part that shows the winner's work as well as a part where "professionals" give answers to different subjects in a kind of interview form. Hort (besides vier5) gave input concerning "Grafic Design and Arts".
