An Excursion Through the World of Adhesive Tapes
Adhesive tapes have recently been used more and more in design projects. TAPE shows the variety of work being done with this material and takes readers on a delightful journey through the world of sticky creativity.

The book features artwork in which tape is used illustratively. Because patterns are a popular theme in design right now, it also presents examples of interiors, fashion, furniture and architecture in which tape is used to create them. The images of the diverse, often humorous artwork and designs are supplemented by texts expounding on adhesive tape’s phenomenal range of application. These include a (not completely) tongue-in-cheek list of 211 uses for duct tape from the USA, the country that invented the saying “God made the world, but it’s held together with duct tape”.

TAPE is rounded out with information about the featured artists and designers, who work and have fun with adhesive tapes

A tárlat megtekinthető: 2006. február 7. és március 4. között
A kiállítás létrehozói február 8-án szerdán, délelőtt 10 órakor előadást tartanak a galériában.

I would like to make small fine publication of the Dutchman René Knip attentive on. It is not again - 2004 appeared - however too beautiful, in order not to present it here. René Knip, which reported also on the Typo Berlin 2005 on its projects, presents here a small summary from 10 years work. The book consists of two parts: Ten Years OF type Related Projects - and if one turns and from the other side to to read begins it: Ten Years OF Custom of alphabet. Knip, formerly lawyer, develops writings completely particularly for projects. They are also not offered for the sales. One discovers the quality of the writings often only in the conversion in the three-dimensional area. René Knip sketches also objects and develops space concepts for exhibitions and shop mechanisms in co-operation with interior decorators. The work reflects its desire to shapes.
