Buy nothing day is an idea instigated by Adbusters as a protest against consumerism. The event has grow in popularity and now takes place in over 20 countries. This year buy nothing day is on the 25th November. As part of a univeristy brief I designed an identity for the day and a series of posters. I chose the card as a central idea because the increasing consumer debt in this country is directly related to over-use of plastic cards. James Chambers, UK
