...

Fresh Dialogue 22: Making Magazines

This year's Fresh Dialogue presents three young publishing gurus who are reinventing how magazines are made. They've thrown off the templates and formulas of traditional publishing in favor of new and innovative approaches to magazine making. Find out what inspired them to take matters into their own hands. Representing the next generation of publishing kingpins, we have: Tod Lippy, creator of the luscious biannual arts publication Esopus; Lisa Farjam, the force behind Middle-East culture magazine Bidoun; and master storyteller David Haskell, editor-in-chief of Topic magazine. And to moderate this evening of lively discussion will be magazine industry mover, shaker and supreme tastemaker, James Truman. AIGA/NY
