Hugo Werner, M-Parts Typeface 2002

In the midst of a crescent worldwide militarization of culture (i.e.. war games, broadcast coverage, military fashion, film industry, etc.), 'M-Parts' is a sarcastic comment about mass-media propaganda. Developed with base in model war toys, the typeface is a 'fake' stencil, in the best dadaist tradition. The series of posters designed to promote 'M-Parts' was selected to participate in the IPT 2003 - Triennal of Poster Design (Japan) and the GoldenBee 6 - International Biennale of Graphic Design 2004 (Russia).
